Are the MGM Tom and Jerry cartoons all under copyright as well as Droopy the Dog series as well?

Yes. They're all under copyright to Turner/Warner Bros. However, the first Tom and Jerry cartoon Puss Gets The Boot was originally distributed without a copyright claim on the title but I believe they were able to get a retro active copyright installed on it. Its like the first season of Star Trek was in the public domain until the 80's when Paramount found out and was able to claim it with a retro active copyright.

Well, "You know what, that makes me angry!" Quotation from many Droopy cartoons when Droppy can't stands it no more. His sentiments are mind exactly when it comes to copyright or retro copyright.
